Jumping from comparisons to worst case scenarios
I thought I was done being bothered by overwhelm, overthinking, unnecessary stress and worries.
Then in 2020, I was hit with my biggest test yet: transitioning from a globe-trotting expat to a single mom back in my home country. At 32, with a baby on the way, I had to leave behind a life I loved, soul tribe who shared similar goals, and figure out how to start over in a new city, on a path unaligned with the expectations of those around me.
I found that even after we've already achieved the title, status, traveled solo, lived abroad or started our own businesses - the outside noise of standards and expectations can still take over our thoughts. It can cause us to withdraw from the world. We question if success is for us, thinking we're falling behind, where who we see in the mirror is unrecognizable.
Living in Tampa, Makati, Toronto, and London taught me about finding my feet. Each city challenged me to adapt, grow, and live exactly how I dreamt - despite less-than-ideal situations, naysayers, and haters. And guess what? I did it, and it turned out even better than expected! 🙌
Now in Melbourne, Australia, raising my child, I've affirmed - that even if it looks like you’re not where you want to be or your energy is fading, having unshakeable belief in yourself can get you through anything!

“Prior to coaching I wasn’t the type of person to share my emotions. I’d gone to a doctor for my trouble sleeping, waking up through the night - it came down to stress and overthinking.
